C’mon, it’s almost 2011!
A discussion came up at work about people that have their own blog. A perplexed co-worker had asked our group at lunch, “Do you guys have a blog? What do you blog about?”
A few of us chimed in and said, “Of course we have blogs, it’s 2010! Who doesn’t?” The beauty about having your own blog is that it’s yours, you can blog about anything you want. Music, fashion, diet, sex, jobs, friends, money, love. Anything.
I thought about how important establishing an internet presence was to me when I was applying for jobs around New York City, I figure it can show employers that you’re internet savvy and up with the latest online trends. Check out me elsewhere on the World Wide Web:

Tis true the importance of an online presence in today’s digital world. The first place people turn for reputation checks are google or other online search engines. I agree that blogs are a great way to generate content and share your opinions — but I’m also a firm believer that reputation can also be established through the links you included or participating actively on message boards or other blogs, like this! However one chooses to engages, you’re right, it’s nearly 2011 so get online!!
