Outdoor Adventures
The weather has been so wonderful. I’ve been fortunate enough to have some great coworkers and family that have been game to take advantage of the cooler air on the East coast lately. A few weekends ago, a group of us traveled about 2 and a half hours outside of New York City to Jim Thorpe, PA and spent the day rafting down the Lehigh River. We had a great time! It was nice to spend a full day on the water, which was so cold and refreshing, and we had a lot of laughs. A few scares even, one of the girls fell out of the boat when we hit a rough patch on the water and we quick pulled her back in by her life jacket!
This weekend, my family is getting together for our second annual bike tour in NYC.
Last year, we met on the Upper East Side and spent the morning biking along the East River, over to Randall’s Island and through Central Park.
About fifteen of us took to the streets of the city and braved the pedestrians and taxis! This year, our route looks like it’s going to take us downtown. I’m looking forward to it!
